About me - Perseus Morgan Harmonica

About Me

Perseus Morgan is a London-based classical harmonicist. He has performed regularly with the S.O.L Collective alongside Ollie Clarke and Caitlin Van Den Bogaerde. He was a featured soloist in William Lovelady’s 80th birthday concert, performing music specially arranged for harmonica by Lovelady himself. In 2022, he received the Royal Philharmonic Society Instrument Grant Award for Harmonica, and in 2024 was awarded the Youth Scholarship from the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica, which included a performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The same year, he graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with a First-Class Honours degree in Music. Perseus is developing a career dedicated to exploring the harmonica’s place in classical and Baroque music, both as a soloist and a collaborative instrumentalist.
